Arc TI debugger - Step In doesn't always work
Created by: RaduCantor
Describe the bug If you have a TI that calls other TI, when you execute it in debug mode and you use Step In (F11) to open the called TI, sometimes Arc interface will go out of debug mode, and the TI will be stuck in debug mode until you kill it from the console. It doesn't always happen, but it mostly happens when the called TI is in the epilog.
[Update]: If you have two servers opened that have the name of the TIs the same (DEV and TEST), an error will show up, as the one uploaded below.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create a master TI, that calls another TI in the epilog tab
- Run the master TI in debug mode
- Set a breakpoint at the called TI
- Select Step In (F11) at the breakpoint
- Observe that Arc will stop the debug session, although the TI will stay in debug
Expected behavior Step In command should always work as expected. Please see the images for how to replicate it.
