Arc Logging in to wrong TM1 Instance
Describe the bug
It seems that Arc is logging me in to the wrong TM1 instance/ changing the TM1 instance I'm logged in to. I am working in a environment where some of the TM1 instances have the same name on different servers e.g. tm1serv exists on a production server and development server. Arc has been configured by listing two admin hosts, one for each server. In the Arc settings (user interface) I had been switching the the admin hosts on and off to switch between the different admin hosts in the belief that I would be logging in to the instance on the admin host selected. It seems that this is not the case.
In this particular environment the instances on the dev server / admin host display quickly, but the instances on the production server / admin host take about a minute to display (it could be due to some of the ports not being open). If I have just the dev admin host selected in Acr, I can log in to the dev tm1serv instance and open up a process. If I am logged out due to being inactive for an amount of time, I am prompted to log in again. At this point I get logged in to the production instance (can be seen in Pulse). I only realised this when the password was changed on one of the instances.
To Reproduce
Difficult to reproduce except using the above description.
Expected behavior
When selecting only a single admin host, I would expect to log in to the instances on that admin host. If this is not possible, I would expect to not see the instance.
