To Do List navigation fails depending on context Plugin is opened from
Describe the bug
The To Do List plugin is shared but no "instance context" is provided. This leads to problems as the Plugin will try to open the object in the context of the instance which the Plugin has been launched from.
- If the object doesn't exist on the instance this will cause an error
- If the to do action was created on another instance than the current one and the object exists on the current instance this also causes a potential problem as the user may not be aware and assume they are editing on the original instance after following the link
This is a recipie for error and confusion. It is made worse when the user has HideInstanceInObjectName=true as then there really is no way to tell without mousing over the tab name to see the instance name in the tooltip
To Reproduce
- Open to do plugin from one instance and create some items
- Open the to do plugin from another instance and attempt to navigate to any of the items
Expected behavior
It needs to be obvious which instance the object belongs to.
Ideally instance context would be provided when creating an action item and navigation proceeds to the correct instance regardless which instance the plugin was launched from
