Hi @wlee,
This might be because of the location of the License.xml file. Here is the article to place it at server level,
https://code.cubewise.com/canvas-docs/license-file
Cheers!
Paul
Canvas Version : 3.2.1
I am able to login to the instance using Architect and the url below using a username and password. https://localhost:8883/api/v1/Dimensions
When I try logging in using the same username and password , Canvas is returning Invalid Credentials.
Below is defined in instances.json file.
On separate issue,
License file was applied onto my local machine and the existing application that comes together with the installer is working fine. But when I try to deploy a client application on my own local machine, it is returning "Invalid License. Please Report this to your Administrator". What may have caused this issue ?
Thanks Winson

Yes you should be using the same Canvas version as they are using.
You can download the Canvas version 2.0.7 here: https://downloads.cubewise.com/Canvas/Canvas.2.0.7.zip?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAIYHDQZNPWISLKBZA&Expires=1700818490&Signature=Km7QsSkD2EzMtRB5ZeYhhXi5mDE%3D

Hi Vincent,
Is 2.0.7 still available for download ? Do you think if that will address the issue that I am having ?
Thanks
Hi Vincent,
I believe this is the version they are using.

Do you know what is their Canvas version?
Hi Vincent,
The license works for the sample and the login to the sample application works as well.
Is the license file computer related and not application related? Find it a bit odd that it works for the sample application and not the custom application that I deployed into Canvas.
Just to give you abit of background. Uni of Adelaide would like to make some changes to the existing canvas application. They have provided a copy of the application which I would like to test out on my local machine and also to have abit of understanding on what the code is doing.
Hi Winson,
When you install Canvas, it should come with a sample application.
Is the sample application working in your environment?
Cheers,
Vincent
