Pulse 6 - Excessive Unbound Processes
Describe the bug
It seems there are a large amount of unbound processes executed from Pulse 6 at our client’s UAT environment. Server name is APDC2TMA98 and TM1 instance is Goodman AP UAT.
Pulse 6 is installed on their Dev server and monitoring both Dev and UAT servers. UAT server still has Pulse 5.8.1 installed and monitoring.
For example, this morning between 8:34:57AM to 8:42:58AM, i.e. is a span of approx. 8mins, there were 471 unbound processes executed. This means that there was 1 unbound process executed almost every 1 sec for 8 mins.
Another even longer one was between 11:46:11AM 24 May to 1:48:38AM 25 May where a total of 7210 unbounded processes were executed.
Is this normal or expected? We have set the change frequency to 30 secs in the instance settings. Are there any other configurations that we need to check?
Not sure if this is related but our metadata chore run time has increase from around 8 mins to about 18 mins now.
