PULSE polling threads holding up our jobs
Good afternoon team..
We’re seeing some issues with Pulse where the polling threads that we have configured in our environment is holding up some of our Cognos Analytics jobs:
In the case below, why is this api call from Pulse running for 4235 seconds???
From TM1Top:
Here you can see that our Cognos Analytics job (thread 78812) is being blocked
From TM1Server log:
We spoke with IBM regarding this as we currently have a case open with them for a CA job spawning off thousands of threads in our TM1 server, and they saw this occurrence where PULSE is holding things up. We would like to know why this is happening. We have our service account running Pulse configured to look at TM1 server every 5 seconds.
