Arc - Code Editors - auto-complete should provide context-sensitive element selection in CellGet and DB formulae
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When editing rules or TI the developer is often forced to have multiple subset editor tabs open in order to copy/paste in hard coded element references. As which dimension or hierarchy is known from the positional context within the CellGet or DB function it should be an easy enhancement to be able to pick an element via the usual ctrl spacebar auto complete shortcut.
Describe the solution you'd like
When working in the rules editor with a DB() or CellValue() reference if the developer selects the text !Dimension or 'Dimension' (depending whether the dimension is a member of the current cube or not) and hits the auto-complete accelerator key combination then a auto-complete picklist of elements in the dimension or hierarchy in question should display. This would be a great enhancement as the developer would no longer need to have the subset editor open in order to copy hard coded element name references in order to avoid possible typos.
It should work the same way in the TI editor for CellPutS, CellPutN, CellGetS, CellGetN.
If this is implemented it could quite easily be extened to remove the need to use the area statement GUI ("[...]") in order to insert a square barcket slice notation on either the left or right of the equals.
