Ability to cancel (or time out) an endless save.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Occasionally you will hit the Save button on either Rules or a process in Arc... and the Save button will keep spinning in an endless circle until the heat death of the universe if you let it. For example THAT:
Has been running for 2 hours and 10 minutes.
There is no way to cancel it, there is no way to stop it short of reloading the page. And if you reload the page, then all unsaved changes vanish into the nearest black hole, never to be seen again. Until you retype tham. ALL of them.
Actually what I normally do is just copy the content into Notepad++, reload the page, repaste the code from Notepad++ and re-save it. That isn't TOO bad with Rules. It's not a lot of fun with Processes where you need to may need to update up to 4 tabs.
Processes are less of a problem thanks to the implementation of auto-save (although you can't be sure how much code was written since the last autosave, so it's still prudent to do the Notepad++ shuffle), but obviously rules can't be partially saved; they either work or they don't.
Describe the solution you'd like
One of two possibilities: (a) A button to cancel the save so that you can take another run at it; or (b) The ability to set a timeout so that if the save has not completed in a set time, it errors out.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The Notepad++ shuffle described above is the only safe option, although it's prudent to have a change of underwear nearby in case it doesn't work.
