Slice - user unable to log into TM1 instance

Describe the bug

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open Slice 64 bit from Windows Start icon
- In Excel, click on Server Explorer on the Slice ribbon
- Left click on the TM1 instance to log in
- Nothing happens user is unable to connect
- Usually a restart of Excel can fix this error (some times 2 restarts are required)
Expected behavior
User should be able to log into TM1 instance, without needing to restart Excel
