Describe the bug
The new "lazy loading" feature is a great addition to Arc for consuming Cube Views but it seems to introduce some issues when it comes to selecting or inputting on views with rows/columns that span beyond the active screen view. It appears the lazy loading kicks in around row 200. Any type of range selection/input within these 200 rows work as expected but if we try to (a) select/copy, (b) zero out, (c) drag down inputs, or (d) paste in a range beyond this initially cached 200 rows, the action is not registered.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
-
Create a cube view with >200 rows. For example, use the view below on UX_Samples: SELECT {[Period].[Period].[Year],[Period].[Period].[Year^01],[Period].[Period].[Year^02],[Period].[Period].[Year^03],[Period].[Period].[Year^04],[Period].[Period].[Year^05],[Period].[Period].[Year^06],[Period].[Period].[Year^07],[Period].[Period].[Year^08],[Period].[Period].[Year^09],[Period].[Period].[Year^10],[Period].[Period].[Year^11],[Period].[Period].[Year^12]} ON COLUMNS , {EXCEPT({EXCEPT({TM1FILTERBYLEVEL({TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER({[Account].[Account].[4]}, ALL, RECURSIVE)}, 0)},{[Account].[Account].[6000]})},{[Account].[Account].[6020]})}
- {TM1FILTERBYLEVEL({TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER({[Region].[Region].[1]}, ALL, RECURSIVE)}, 0)} ON ROWS FROM [General Ledger] WHERE ( [Version].[Version].[Budget], [Year].[Year].[2020], [Currency].[Currency].[Local], [Department].[Department].[0], [General Ledger Measure].[General Ledger Measure].[Amount] )
-
Perform any of these "range" actions on a range >200 rows (a) select/copy (b) zero out (c) drag down inputs (d) paste in
Expected behavior
For "lazy loading" to be fully working, it would be great it can support the aforementioned "ranged-based" actions. Alternatively, it would be necessary to have a way to toggle-off lazy-loading so any of these range-based actions can be performed in the cube viewer. Perhaps there can be another cube viewer toolbar action to load XX rows like in previous versions of Arc.
