Picklist only displays for elements in the same named hierarchy
Describe the bug
If an element exists in an alternate hierarchy but does not also exist in the same named hierarchy then a correctly defined PickList will not be displayed in Arc. Arc will only display a PickList for elements which exist in the same named hierarchy.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Test in a cube containing a dimension with at least one alternate hierarchy
- Define a PickList using a }PickList_ cube which applies to all elements in the dimension to be tested (i.e. don't specify the dimension at all in the PickList rule)
- In Arc open a view and place the same named hierarchy on row or column axis. The PickList will display for all elements
- Now swap the same named hierarchy for an alternate hierarchy. The PickList value will display only for element which exist in both the alternate hierarchy and the same named hierarchy. For any elements existing only in the alternate hierarchy only "CLEAR" will show in the drop-down and data entry will not be possible for the cell. (If need be delete an element from the same named hierarchy which exists in the alternate hierarchy in order to simulate.)
Expected behavior
The PickList should display!
Screenshots
Element "8999" exists in the same named hierarchy in addition to the alternate hierarchy called "FIN PCoA". The PickList displays correctly.
Element "8899" exists only in the alternate hierarchy "FIN PCoA" and not in the same named hierarchy. The PickList does not display and no data entry is possible.
If we look in the }PickList_ cube we can see that the PickList is defined the same for all members of the dimension regardless of which hierarchy and regardless whether the element is a member of the same named hierarchy or not.
